Amidst the sands of the desert country of
Turkmenistan, remains of great civilisations are visible.
Located on the eastern shores of the Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan
is rich in mineral wealth, but its people continue to live
a simple life. Tradition is very important to the Turkmen,
and through that tradition much of the Turkmen nomadic culture
has been preserved.
